In a HARDtalk interview on Monday 22 July Tim Sebastian interviews Richard Perle, Chairman of the Defence Policy Board at the US Department of Defence. President Bush has declared his intent to get rid of the Iraqi Leader, Saddam Hussein. But if America is on the verge of invading Iraq, is it a policy that has a clearly defined end game?
So how much international support would be needed for this policy, and would they get it? Richard Perle is a consultant to the Secretary of Defence, and a key security adviser to President George Bush. He talks to Tim Sebastian about who could replace Saddam Hussein as President in Iraq, what sort of regime could replace military rule, and what evidence they have to support any action against him.
