Hungary's capital Budapest hosts the week-long Sziget festival on an island on the river Danube in August. Also on the banks of the Danube, there'll be four days of music in July at the Exit festival in Novi Sad.
Denmark's Faroe Islands host the offbeat G! Music Festival from July 14th, and over the same weekend, there's also Benicàssim in Spain - on the Mediterranean between Barcelona and Valencia.
