Kate Russell gives us her latest selection of the best sites on the World Wide Web.The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites. If you are bored of the generic fonts that come pre-loaded on your PC, dafont.com might be just what you are looking for.
There are hundreds upon hundreds of fonts to choose from. The site is very easy to navigate. You can look through the styles in alphabetical order, by theme or author.
Once you have decided which one to go for, click "Download" and you will be prompted to save a zip file.
Once downloaded, open up the zip file, select all the contents and drag and drop them in your fonts file which is located in the control panel. This will ensure your font type is installed and ready to use.
I installed "Eagle GT II" and it is now in my selection of font types.
If you are not a Windows user not to worry - most fonts will also work on a Mac and you can find the installation guide in the FAQ section.
You can also share your own selection of fonts with the rest of the world but to do this you need to register first.

Color.slightlyblue.com is the url with no www and it is the search technique here that I want to draw your attention to.
The opening page features lots of pretty photographs, but if you take a closer look you will also see all the photographs share the same colour theme which matches the background.
On the top left-hand corner is a colour selecter. Drag your mouse to a colour you like and see the effect. The background changes and so does the pictures, all again matching the colour at the back.
It is a very nice and easy way of searching for photographs with particular colours in them.
All these pictures are collected from various artists with Flickr accounts and all of them are part of the creative commons licence which means you can download and share the photos with others but cannot use them commercially.
If you want to save any of these pictures to your hard drive you will need to sign-up for a Yahoo account in order to log on to Flickr.

Eyespot.com is an online editing software for creating low resolution videos. Once registered you start by uploading your videos to the site. The maximum filesize is 100MB which is pretty limited but if you have a camera with low resolution video capturing capabilities it should be sufficient.
Once uploaded click on "Mixer" and you will be presented with your uploaded clips and a timeline underneath. Here you can trim your videos and then drag and drop them on to the the timeline in the order you want.
You can then apply effects and transitions and add titles.
Once you are happy with your final edit, give it a name and then click "Mix and Play". The mixing will take a few moments depending on the length of the clip you have created and the speed of your connection.
You now have three options to choose from, you can publish your mix for all eyespot users to see, send it to a friend or download it for your personal use.
If you choose to download, the site will re-encode your mix to one of the five formats provided and send it to you via email.
The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites. This site is full of beautiful photographs and interesting videos. There is something for everyone here.
All the navigation sections are listed on the right-hand side, click on one to jump to the section that interests you the most. I clicked on "Cats sleeping positions" under recent comments - these are really beautiful funny pictures especially for cat lovers like me.
If you want to post your own material, you can email site's creator, it seems like a one man crew though so it might take a while before you see your own post up there.
And before I go, one last suggestion, check out "Beautiful nature photos" - these images really are breathtaking.
