Iain Duncan Smith MP, Conservative party leader

On this week's programme, Iain Duncan Smith defended his leadership of the Conservative Party - and insisted that he would still be in place at the time of the next General Election. He said a vote of confidence in him - which would require the backing of 25 Tory MPs - was "just not going to happen". But he admitted that it would take a long time to turn the party's fortunes round.

Also on the programme, the Home Secretary David Blunkett repeated his warning that everybody should be on their guard against terrorist attacks in Britain. Although he said there was no specific intelligence of an expected attack, he said people should be particularly vigilant at airports and large gatherings - such as today's Remembrance ceremonies.

The other guests on the programme were the Bishop of London, the Right Reverend Richard Chartres and the head of Homeland Security in the United States, Tom Ridge.
