| ![]() The Prime Minister Tony Blair Sunday 13th January on BBC One Sir David Frost was joined this week by the Prime Minister, the Chief Constable of the Northern Ireland Police Service, Sir Ronnie Flanagan, and by David Davies, Executive Director of the Football Association. In his interview the Prime Minister defended his international mission to India and Pakistan while hundreds of thousands of passengers were left stranded by rail strikes in Britain. Sir Ronnie Flanagan condemned the sectarian murder of a Catholic postman in Belfast as a "cowardly" act. He said the recent surge of violence was "barbaric". David Davies said that the FA and the Government are working to build a new national stadium on the Wembley site.
