He said the Duncan-Smith policy was a "euphemism for leaving the EU". Ruth Lea, of the Institute of Directors and Professor Roderick Floud, President of Universities UK, discussed the validity of university degrees and debated about whether or not these make students more employable. Also in discussion with Peter Sissons were Colonel Bob Stewart and Balkans expert Mark Almond. They talked about the new military operation in Macedonia, particularly concentrating on the role of British troops. Barbara Cassani, Chief Executive of 'Go' (a low cost airline) and Anthony Howard, journalist for The Times assisted Peter Sissons with his review of the Sunday newspapers. Please note that there will be no programme next weekend (26 August). Sir David Frost will be back in the studio on Sunday, 2nd September.
