What issues affect the 21st Century family? | Despite warnings about family breakdown, it seems the British family is alive and well with people more confident about their future now, than in the 1960s. This is one of the findings of a poll commissioned by the BBC, it also suggests that three-quarters of people in Britain are optimistic about the future of their families. The poll was conducted by the ICM for the BBC, as part of a week-long series of reports across BBC News programmes and the website looking at family life.
