From 7am this morning, driving into large areas of inner London is suddenly going to become very expensive. The congestion charge zone is being extended westwards, to include areas including Earl's Court, Kensington and Notting Hill.
The �8 a day charge isn't just a fact of life for many Londoners.
Similar schemes are under consideration in several other major British cities.
On Monday's Breakfast, we spoke to Peter Roberts who set up a petition against road pricing that has been signed by half a million people and Katie Elliot from Friends of the Earth
