Kevin Spacey:

That's one of Shakespeare's most famous quotations but could also be applied to Oscar winner Kevin Spacey and theatre director Ed Hall who're bringing two of the Bard's well-known plays to the West End stage.

Twelfth Night and the Taming of the Shrew are being staged at The Old Vic, and, just as in Shakespeare's time, they'll be performed by an all-male cast.

Both of the productions have already been described by one critic as "a wicked pleasure" , and they are also performed with an all male cast in keeping with Shakespeare's original casting.

Kevin Spacey added that the plays deal with identity, disguise and deception, but that they are funny and accessible.

He added that although he wasn't acting in any of the plays it was very satisfying to see Shakespeare back at the Old Vic.

Spacey said he would be acting again, in a play directed by Trevor Nunn, but not until 2008, and he's producing a film in the United States called 21.

It's about a group of students who learn to card count at blackjack, they go to Las Vegas and win millions of dollars.
