There's a second day of misery for air travellers as BA grounds all its domestic flights from Heathrow. Heavy fog is causing problems for aircraft in and out of London's busiest airport as many people try to get away for the Christmas holidays. And the prospects for travellers don't look to great, but BBC weather forecasters say that the situation at Gatwick which has also been affected is set to improve. The airport operator BAA, confirmed on Thursday that some European flights would also be cancelled. The managing director of BAA Heathrow, said that travellers it was possible that some people might not be able to travel in time for Christmas.
