Edgware road bomb victim, Daniel Biddle |
Intelligence services could not have prevented the London bombings, according to the two official reports published today. That's one of the findings today of a select committee report into the 7/7 bombs.
The report also found that the Edgware road bomber Mohammed Siddique Khan was linked to a terrorist cell that was being monitored by MI5.
Alongside that report, the Home Office will publish its official 'narrative' of events on that day.
On Breakfast today, we heard from one of the victims who lost part of both legs, and an eye at the Edgware road bomb Daniel Biddle, who is 27, is still in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.

One of the reports, says there's no evidence of an intelligence failure in the run up to the bombings but there are gaps in the way some information, particularly from abroad, is gathered.
The ISC report found that the ring-leader Mohammed Siddique Khan, who blew himself up on a tube train at Edgware Road, was linked to a terrorist cell already under surveillance by the security services.
It blames a lack of resources, for the failure to intercept him.
