Blair: historic triumph but with a reduced majority
Tony Blair has made history this morning, by winning a third term as Labour Prime Minister.

It's the first time that Labour has ever won three General Elections in a row - but its majority is likely to be cut substantially: from 167 in 2001, to around 66 MPs.

  • This morning, Breakfast brought you the highs and lows of election night.

We were on hand as the Prime Minister arrived back in London, from his Sedgefield Constituency, just after 6am.
