This summer, cinema screens have been dominated by sequels and special effects action movies but a film that's also taken America by storm and is about to grip the UK is a good old fashioned scary movie. But there's a twist, of course. Director of "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs", M Night Shyamalan has assembled an all-star cast for his latest offering "The Village", including Sigourney Weaver and Oscar winner Adrien Brody, but the lead is played by newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard.

He talked about the pressure following Sixth Sense, and the transition from being an unknown to being an accepted mainstream director.
He also spoke about the difference between American and British audiences.
Bryce Dallas Howard talked about the challenges of playing a blind character, and how she interacted with the big names on set.
She spoke about how she was plucked from the theatre and put into her big screen role.
Shyamalan has previously directed thrillers Sixth Sense and Signs.
His latest movie, the Village, is set in the 19th Century and deals with the presence of creatures living in the woods of a seemingly-peaceful place,
But when a mutual agreement to keep out of each other's areas is breached by a human, the calm of the village is over.
