Monday May 12: Poverty

At the start of Christian Aid week, Joseph Fiennes set out to discover why Angola is so rich in natural resources, but remains under the yoke of poverty.

In the country's capital, Luanda, he found amazing wealth and poverty, side by side.

Tuesday May 13: War veterans

In his second report, Joseph Fiennes went to meet some of the UNITA rebels who have been fighting in Angola's civil war for the past 27 years.

They have now swapped their guns for civilian life - but integrating back into society is not proving to be easy.

Wednesday May 14: the Aids time-bomb

Soldiers returning from the civil war have brought with them a horrific legacy: HIV and Aids.

Joseph spoke to two widows who are learning to live with HIV - and dropped in on a theatre in education session which aims to protect the next generation from Aids.
