| Your ticket to the galaxy ![]() This morning on Breakfast, a double helping of Star Trek. The USS Enterprise's first and most famous captain, James T Kirk - alias the actor William Shatner - was a live guest on our main programme at around 8.40am. And he stayed on to answer your emails, in a special 15-minute interactive forum. William Shatner is in Britain to publicise the "Star Trek Adventure" which takes place at Hyde Park" from 18th December to the 31st January 2003. He's the star of the original Gene Roddenberry Star Trek series, which began in the late 1960s. And - in the programme's title sequence, he utters one of the most famous split infinitives of all time - "to boldly go where no man has gone before."
