It all means more and more people are trying their hand at ambitious projects and our obsession with home improvement shows no sign of slowing down. But what if it doesn't turn out quite as you expected?

A survey suggests that one in three couples argued over home improvement. And half the people questioned said their partner was useless at DIY, which all makes for a testing Bank Holiday. |
