A few weeks ago, Breakfast asked for your memories of the Queen, for our special series on the Golden Jubilee.

Many of you wrote and e-mailed to tell us of your memories of the Queen - and for some of you, lives were changed as a result.

This morning's film focuses on Jack Brown, one-time atheist, communist and hardened republican.

To make the series, Breakfast called its award-winning reporter Bill Hamilton out of retirement. Bill told us how he went about his assignment: tracking down real people whose lives were touched by royalty.
