President Bush will lead a day of remembrance in America today for more than three thousand people who died six months ago today on September 11th.

Two massive beams of light will shine into the sky where the twin towers once stood.

On Breakfast, this morning, we showed some extraordinary footage shot inside the twin towers shortly before they collapsed.

It was captured by the two French film makers who happened to be shooting a documentary about the New York fire service when the planes struck.

We spoke to Anne-Marie Duncan, who was on the 39th floor when the attacks took place. She's in New York now.

Also on the programme, we spoke to a New York firefighter, Joe Miccio, who took part in the rescue effort on September 11th.

He said he was off duty when the call came. He spent the next 48 hours on site, picking through the rubble, determined that a dignified recovery should took place.He's in London to promote a 10k charity race through the streets of London this summer.
