FRANK
FRANK is the government's free and confidential drugs helpline. It features detailed advice on the different types of drugs, gives advice on what to do if you think you have a problem or you suspect someone you know has a problem.

Adfam
Adfam is a national charity working with families affected by drugs and alcohol and is a leading agency in substance related family work. They provide a range of publications and resources for families about substances and criminal justice and operate an online message board and database of local support groups that helps families hear about and talk to people who understand their situation.
The Foreign Office
The Foreign Office has information about drug laws abroad and has produced a leaflet detailing the advice and help that the British Consulate can give if you are arrested for drugs offences outside of the UK.
The European Legal Database on Drugs
This website gives detailed information about the law in Spain. It details the history of the legislation and prosecution practices.
Lifebytes
LifeBytes is a new website which gives young people aged 11 to 14 the facts about health, including drugs, in a different and interesting way.
DrugScope
DrugScope is an independent centre of expertise on drugs. The aim is to inform policy development and reduce drug-related risk. It provides quality drug information, promotes effective responses to drug taking and undertakes research at local, national and international levels.
Addaction
Addaction is a UK charity working solely in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. Founded in 1967, it now has more than projects within communities and prisons.
Release
Release offers a range of specialist services to professionals and the public concerning drugs and the law. At the heart of our service is the Legal Helpline and Heroin Helpline, providing advice to drug users, their families, friends, and statutory and voluntary agencies.

The BBC Health website has a detailed section about illegal drugs. The "Understanding Drugs" sections contain articles on the effects of drugs and what to look out for.
Radio One
Radio One's One Life website contains frank information about drugs and drug taking, with real life stories and guides on the effects of different drugs. The site is aimed at teenagers and young adults.
CBBC
The Children's BBC website has produced an easy to follow guide to drugs aimed at teenage and younger schoolchildren. The site, What are Drugs, contains basic advice and information on illegal drugs.
