Iranian state TV says seven people were killed during Monday's protests in Tehran over the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The state broadcaster told viewers that the people were killed 'during an attack on a military base'.
It also showed footage of burnt out vehicles and destruction on the streets of Tehran.
