International donors meeting in Egypt have pledged almost $4.5bn (�3.2bn) to rebuild Gaza after the recent Israeli offensive.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced a $900m aid package for Gaza and Saudi Arabia pledged $1bn (�703m).
Although the figure is above expectations, difficulties lie ahead in how the aid will be distributed.
