Tony Blair has welcomed the the nomination of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and called on the next US administration to engage in Middle east peace efforts from day one.
Ex-UK PM Mr Blair, now envoy for the Quartet of Middle East mediators, spoke to the BBC's Kim Ghattas.
