A Lebanese woman who was held without trial for nearly ten years by Israel's militia allies in southern Lebanon for attempting to assassinate their leader Antoine Lahad said after her release on Thursday that she would do the same again.

The woman, Soha Bishara, who's now thirty-one, pledged at a press conference in Beirut to go on fighting against the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon.

Freed following intervention by France, She was handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross which escorted her to Beirut to be reunited with her family and met the Lebanese prime minister, Rafik al-Hariri.
