The extent of Wednesday's Indonesian earthquake is becoming clearer, as aid workers reach remote areas.
Whole villages were destroyed by landslides triggered by the quake along Sumatra's western coast.
With many roads damaged by the quake, rescuers and officials have still not been able to reach the villages.
More than 1,000 people have died in the 7.6-magnitude quake.
Rescuers are still looking for thousands reported missing and many relatives are handing out pictures in an effort to locate loved ones.
Most casualties are reported from Padang, a city of 900,000 people.
Many schools, businesses and homes in Padang are now tangles of concrete and rubble.
But although emergency teams are still digging three days after the tremor, hopes of finding survivors are fading.
Aid workers from many countries are on their way to Padang to help exhausted local teams.
