Thousands of people have been forced from their homes as flooding caused by heavy rain brought chaos to the Philippines capital Manila.
Officials said that as much rain fell in six hours as would normally fall in a whole month.
The flooding, brought on by Tropical Storm Ketsana, was the worst seen in Manila for 20 years.
The chaos has not been restricted to Manila. Fishermen in the port of Malabon city struggled to rescue their boats.
Children have been playing in the flooded streets, but media reports say several have died in the storms.
Thousands of vehicles have been stranded on the country's roads.
