At least 16 people have been killed in southern and central China after heavy rains triggered a series of floods and landslides in the region.
More than 300,000 people have been moved out of flooded areas, but some residents still remain trapped in their homes.
The worst-hit areas are in Hunan, Fujian and Guangxi provinces, where a number of towns and villages are partially submerged.
In Guangxi, some 15,000 people left their homes after a dyke at the base of a water reservoir was breached.
Local residents have been using sandbags to try to hold back surging flood waters.
The floods have devastated the region, sparking concern that the death toll will rise even further.
