The Brazilian military has brought the first bodies to be recovered from the Air France plane that crashed over the Atlantic last week to the Fernando de Noronha islands, off Brazil's coast.
Officials say 28 bodies have now been recovered from around the site of the crash, some 1,000km (600 miles) north-east of Fernando de Noronha.
Search teams have been scouring the sea where the plane disappeared with planes, boats, and divers from the French and Brazilian navies.
They have recovered debris from the wreckage of the plane, including a large section of the tail painted with Air France colours.
Other scraps of debris have been recovered, but not the plane's flight data recorders - or black boxes - considered crucial for the investigation into the crash.
More equipment, including sophisticated deep-sea listening devices from the US, is expected to arrive this week as the search for the data recorders continues.
There were 228 people on the plane when it crashed on 1 June. Some relatives attended a briefing organised by Air France at a hotel in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Mickael Peitrus of the Orlando Magic basketball team paid tribute to the victims of the crash by marking his shoe with the flight number.
