In pictures: Dhaka funeral

The state funeral for about 50 officers killed during a Bangladesh border guard mutiny last week has taken place in the capital, Dhaka. The full death toll of officers is thought to be about 140.

The mutiny, which is also thought to have killed 20 civilians, is believed to have occurred because of a dispute over pay.

Bangladeshi authorities have issued arrest warrants for "1,000 guardsmen and accomplices" suspected of being involved in the mutiny.

Some of the pallbearers broke down as the coffins were carried to a funeral marquee.

Relatives of those killed were overcome with emotion as the officers' coffins were buried.

Dozens of officers are still missing and presumed dead.

Those accused of taking part in the mutiny will face a range of charges, including conspiracy to kill officers and civilians, using weapons and explosives and trying to hide bodies.
