The Clydesdale Bank has issued new banknotes to mark Scotland's Homecoming. Sir Alexander Fleming and St Kilda are on the 5 note. It coincides with the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth. He shares the 10 note with the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh. The notes feature famous Scots, including Robert the Bruce - who remains on the 20 note. New Lanark is on the reverse. The notes, such as this one featuring Elsie Inglis, draw on the themes of Burns, Great Minds and Innovation, Culture and Heritage. Clydesdale Bank is one of three banks in Scotland authorised to print their own notes. The 100 note features Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
