The young stars of High School Musical 3: Senior Year - Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu - were on their best behaviour at the Disney sequel's UK premiere on Tuesday. Screaming fans braved some inclement weather to greet the actors in London's Leicester Square. Dancers and basketball players kept them entertained while they waited for the stars to arrive. The film also introduces British teen actress Jemma McKenzie-Brown as a new character, Tiara Gold. Actor Jason Donovan was among several celebrities who brought their children along. The former Neighbours star will be seen in the West End next year in a musical version of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Gail Porter had some young companions with her as she arrived at the Empire cinema in central London. The TV presenter is one of several Scottish celebrities recording a song for Children in Need. While Oasis star Noel Gallagher shrugged off his recent injuries to launch his band's UK tour in Liverpool, his ex-wife Meg Matthews walked the red carpet in the capital with their daughter Anais. Volatile TV chef Gordon Ramsay spent a night out of the kitchen to attend the West End premiere with his wife, Tana, and their four children - (l to r) Megan, Jack, Holly and Matilda. Last year's Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha Dixon took time out to sashay up the red carpet. The former Mis-Teeq star releases her latest single, The Boy Does Nothing, next month. Up-and-coming girl band The Saturdays donned colour co-ordinated outfits and matching black stockings at the glitzy event. High School Musical 3: Senior Year opens in the UK on 22 October.
