Alexandra Woods, Banbridge: "A lot of the houses in Banbridge were flooded and rescue services came to drain some of the water off. I've lived here all my life and I've never seen it this bad."

Jonathan Bingham, County Antrim "The Six Mile river flooded completely, it's been a miserable day."

Derek Hall, Newtownabbey, County Antrim: "The water was pouring into the road and houses faster than we could pump it out. My church, the Whitehouse Presbyterian Church, was totally flooded."
