North Wales Fire and Rescue Service had to pump flood water out of people's homes after receiving almost 50 calls from the public.

Sandbags were placed outside people's homes in Prestatyn to try to stop the flood waters entering their properties.

Four water units based at Deeside, Ruthin, Bangor and Betws y Coed, which were introduced four years ago, were used.
