The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall try to get a better look at Montserrat. The couple have been visiting the Caribbean island as part of a tour of the region.

This is Prince Charles's first visit to Montserrat since a major eruption devastated the island in 1997.

This is what the Royal couple were trying to get a good look at - Soufriere Hills volcano, the cause of the devastation. Half of the island remains uninhabitable.

Charles and Camilla have been meeting the locals, seeing the destruction, and checking out redevelopment plans.

Prince Charles is in need of his wife's sunglasses as he squints in the Caribbean sun. Jamaica is their next stop.
