Fans have been paying tribute to Motherwell captain Phil O'Donnell who collapsed during a match on Saturday. Scarves, strips and pictures have been left at the gates of Fir Park to remember 35-year-old O'Donnell, who was married with four children. Players including Celtic and former Motherwell footballer, Scott McDonald, also attended to pay tribute to O'Donnell, who also played for Celtic and Sheffield Wednesday. O'Donnell's father, Bernard, said the family had been "overwhelmed" by the support shown by people both inside and outside of football. Motherwell's manager, Mark McGhee, said: "We are all totally devastated. This is a shocking tragedy." Motherwell's upcoming games against Hibernian and Celtic have been postponed as a mark of respect.
