Benazir Bhutto's husband, Asif Ali Zardari (in white cap) and their son Bilawal (left) lower her coffin into its grave in the Bhutto family mausoleum in Sindh province. After her burial, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal scatter rose petals on the grave of the assassinated former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Asif Ali Zardari comforts Bilawal, 19, after the funeral prayers for Benazir Bhutto. The couple also have two daughters: Bakhtawar, 17, and Aseefa, 14. Thousands of mourners surround the ambulance bearing Benazir Bhutto to the family's ancestral village in Ghari Khuda Baksh, Larkana district. Benazir Bhutto drew much of her support from her native Sindh province where her family was very influential. The journey of Benazir to her grave began in a simple wooden coffin, carried out of a Rawalpindi hospital. The coffin was loaded into an ambulance to be taken to a plane for the journey south to Larkana. An attendant stands beside the Garhi Khuda Bux, or Bhutto family burial tomb, in this image from October 2007 when Benazir made a pilgrimage to the mausoleum. The Bhutto family's ancestral graveyard in Ghari Khuda Baksh, Larkana, is dominated by the mausoleum of Benazir's father, former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
