At least 70 people have died over the past 10 days, in the latest devastating floods to hit Vietnam Central regions of the country were hardest hit, with the world heritage site of Hoi An struggling under several feet of water. Tens of thousands of homes were left under water, and fears of disease outbreaks are growing. As floodwaters begin to subside, residents are already being warned of the next bout of severe weather - tropical storm Peipah is due to hit later in the week. Vietnam is regularly hit by tropical storms and flooding - the latest wave coming just weeks after Typhoon Lekima left scores dead.
