The life of rock star Bruce Springsteen has been captured in photographic images at a new exhibition in London. The musician is pictured on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip in 1975, promoting his first commercially successful album Born To Run. The work of photographers who have charted Springsteen's career are on display at London's Proud Galleries from 26 October, including Jim Marchese who captured him off guard. 'The Boss' was captured in full flow at a performance in Worcester in 1988 by photographer Debra L Rothenberg. The rocker was pictured during a backstage moment with U2 frontman Bono at the group's Hammersmith Palais concert in London, 1982. The musician is captured in his trademark pose in 1992. Jim Marchese says photographing him was "one of the most exhilarating assignments of my career".
