Three England football stars got married on Saturday. Manchester Cathedral was the venue for England defender Gary Neville's wedding to long-term girlfriend Emma Hadfield. England striker Wayne Rooney seemed happy to be upstaged by girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin on their arrival at the cathedral. Manchester United's Ryan Giggs (L) and Paul Scholes were there to support their long-term team-mate. Manchester United and England's glorious past was represented by Bryan Robson, who played with Neville briefly. Meanwhile, in Berkshire guests were whisked into the venue for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's marriage to Alex Curran. Gerrard and Curran are thought to have sold the rights for coverage of their nuptials, forcing the press into a peripheral role. And Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick married Lisa Roughead near Melton Mowbray. England star Joe Cole attended Carrick's wedding. The pair were team-mates at West Ham in the early part of their careers. On Friday, Cheryl and Ashley Cole were among the guests at England captain John Terry's wedding to Toni Poole.
