Mike Myers, the voice of Shrek, poses alongside his character at the Los Angeles premiere of the third instalment of the cartoon fairytale. The film sees Myers team up once again with Cameron Diaz, who plays Princess Fiona. Pop star Justin Timberlake joins the cast as Artie, a rebellious royal relative. Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake embraced warmly at the premiere. The pair dated for three years but split in January. Dame Julie Andrews and fellow Brit Rupert Everett posed on the green carpet. Both joined the cast for Shrek 2. Actress Melanie Griffith accompanied husband Antonio Banderas, who plays the suave Puss in Boots. Monty Python's Eric Idle is a new addition to the Shrek cast, starring as Merlin. His co-star Cheri Oteri (l) voices the character of Sleeping Beauty. Eddie Murphy has been in all three Shrek films as the lovable Donkey, Shrek's ever-present sidekick.
