Nanjing Automobile has unveiled the first MG cars to be built in China. It bought the bankrupt UK firm MG Rover for �53m ($104m) in 2005. An MG 7 sedan: Nanjing, based in the city of the same name, expects China to be its biggest market in future. Nanjing Auto acquired MG Rover's assembly lines and engine technology. It plans to set up an assembly line in Oklahoma next year to supply the US market. An MG TF Roadster convertible: British experts from MG's old Longbridge plant are involved in producing the new MGs. The Chinese firm is keen to show off MG's famous pedigree. It markets the MG 7 sedan as "Modern Gentleman".
