The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited a traditional market in Doha, Qatar, during their ten-day tour of the Gulf states. The royal couple flew to Kuwait and Qatar before moving on to Bahrain on Sunday. They will go on to visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Duchess of Cornwall was given flowers by a child as she left a morning service at the Doha English speaking school in Qatar. The couple were also given a tour around the new Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, on Saturday. The Duchess of Cornwall wore gold and pearl bracelets and carried a woven handbag as she toured the Museum of Islamic Art. Prince Charles chatted with Maisa bint Hamad al-Thani, the daughter of Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani at the museum. The couple flew on to Bahrain on Sunday and spoke to students from the country's British School in the capital city of Manama. Prince Charles went aboard the Royal Navy Frigate HMS Sutherland in Bahrain, which is seen as a key Gulf state ally.
