The seventh series of Big Brother was won by musician Pete Bennett, who said the show had changed his life.

The 24-year-old, who has Tourette Syndrome, jumped off the stage at the end of his interview with host Davina McCall.

The runner-up was lifeguard Glyn Wise, who carried a Welsh flag as he met the crowds outside the Big Brother house.

Aisleyne Horgan Wallace took third place. In her interview, she spoke of her tough upbringing, saying: "All single-parent families - big up yourselves!"

Host Davina McCall admonished the crowd for booing contestants as they left the house.

Richard Newman jumped up and down as he left the house in fourth place. He said he "always knew" Pete and Glyn would fight it out in the final.

Pete's love interest in the Big Brother house, Nikki Grahame, was overwhelmed by the crowd's negative response.

The 24-year-old model, from Middlesex, had to be consoled by Davina McCall during her post-eviction interview - which was eventually abandoned.

Jennie Corner, who speaks fluent Turkish and French, was the first housemate to be booted out in the live final.

Previous housemates from the series, including Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton, were present for the finale.

Shahbaz Chauhdry, who walked out after just five days, was also present. He holds the record for being the shortest-lived Big Brother housemate ever.
