Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell play Tubbs and Crockett in the film remake of Miami Vice, which debuted in Los Angeles.

The original TV show - with Philip Michael Thomas as Tubbs and Don Johnson as Crockett - ran from 1984 to 1989.

Naomie Harris worked on Miami Vice and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest simultaneously.

Colin Farrell spent time with fans on the red carpet and autographed an Irish flag which was given to him.

The remake was produced, directed and written by Michael Mann, who was executive producer on the original TV show.

Chinese actress Gong Li was also on the red carpet for the premiere of the film which opens in the US on 28 July.
