Commuters faced scenes of wreckage as they set off the morning after seven co-ordinated blasts hit Mumbai's rail network during the evening rush-hour. Some received news of lost loved ones after an agonising overnight wait. Hundreds of injured are being treated in 31 hospitals around the city, police say. Mortuary workers faced sad tasks with the dead numbering more than 180. Poignant reminders of the victims - like this fragment of skull - were found among the debris. Anxious relatives scoured lists of the names of dead and injured at hospitals. Most of the city's suburban trains are back on schedule, but many commuters are travelling by bus instead. Railway staff worked overnight to clear the mangled wreckage from the train lines and stations hit in the attacks. The entire rail network was suspended on Tuesday. Stranded passengers faced a difficult journey home - some slept in schools and colleges.
