Police were on guard outside Aberdeen Airport after a major anti-terrorist alert. We asked passengers at Aberdeen and Inverness airports to tell us about their experiences. Gregor Tait, from Aberdeen, faces a drive to London with children Amber and Daniel after their flight was cancelled. He said: "It's a hassle, but I absolutely understand." Pregnant mother-of-three Sarah Lewin, from Aberdeen, with Josie, said: "We absolutely understand. We can take nappies and wipes on board, which is good." Formula One racing commentator Murray Walker faced problems at Aberdeen Airport as he tried to fly to Heathrow. He said: "It's better safe than sorry." Duncan and Julie Kidson were waiting at Inverness for a flight to Gatwick. Mrs Kidson said: "We're very pleased security is being taken seriously." Yvonne Smith, from Orkney, flew from Kirkwall to Inverness with three-year-old Amber. She said: "I hadn't known anything about it until we arrived at the airport."
