US President George W Bush meets Pakistani cricketers Inzamam-ul-Haq (left) and Salman Butt in the grounds of the US embassy in Islamabad. After receiving instructions from the Pakistani captain, the president takes to the crease with a cricket bat. A high delivery strikes the president on his shoulder. The president starts to get the hang of things, hitting the ball high and hard. He then tries his hand at bowling. The president is better acquainted with baseball techniques than cricket. President Bush later admits he still has some way to go before becoming a capable cricketer.
