Sheep in a country lane

Posties were asked to photo the UK from 'the man on the street's view' for Unseen UK, in aid of Help the Hospices. These sheep ambling along a country road were snapped by Roger Jones from Twywn in Gwynedd.

Sisters outside a house

Buildings and landmarks were popular photos but Paul Clivery from Mold saw these two elderly sisters sitting and chatting outside a house

Pigsty

A pigsty at Llanellen, Abergavenny ( Paul Davies) was one of 20,000 pictures submitted for the project.

Aberystwyth seafront

This dramatic view of high tide on Aberystwyth seafront was the work of local postman John Edwards .

White peacock

Not surprisingly animal pictures featured highly. This white peacock at Dale, Pembrokeshire ( Icaro Taborda) was a more unusual sight.

Chinook helicopter

Ewen Davies from Aberystwyth saw this Chinook helicopter on the Talyllyn Pass and captured the view on his camera.

German Shepherd dog

Chloe, the German Shepherd, appeared eager to get inside the car when Tony Morgans, of Llandudno, photographed her.

Postmen's legs

Margaret Harvey from Chirk, Wrexham took this photo of postmen relaxing after delivering the mail on a hot day.
