Posties were asked to photo the UK from 'the man on the street's view' for Unseen UK, in aid of Help the Hospices. These sheep ambling along a country road were snapped by Roger Jones from Twywn in Gwynedd. Buildings and landmarks were popular photos but Paul Clivery from Mold saw these two elderly sisters sitting and chatting outside a house A pigsty at Llanellen, Abergavenny ( Paul Davies) was one of 20,000 pictures submitted for the project. This dramatic view of high tide on Aberystwyth seafront was the work of local postman John Edwards . Not surprisingly animal pictures featured highly. This white peacock at Dale, Pembrokeshire ( Icaro Taborda) was a more unusual sight. Ewen Davies from Aberystwyth saw this Chinook helicopter on the Talyllyn Pass and captured the view on his camera. Chloe, the German Shepherd, appeared eager to get inside the car when Tony Morgans, of Llandudno, photographed her. Margaret Harvey from Chirk, Wrexham took this photo of postmen relaxing after delivering the mail on a hot day.
