Relatives of miners trapped by Sunday's blast at San Juan de Sabinas are becoming increasingly anxious. Miners have been working in shifts to try and reach the 65 trapped underground. Mine officials explained the details of the rescue operation. For one relative, the stress of waiting proved too much. Some miners alleged poor safety at the mine, something denied by the owners. The search is going on, but no one knows what chance there is of success. As night fell on Monday, those keeping a vigil at the mine lit fires to keep warm.
