Bedwyr Williams' Bard Attitude (2005)

One of 13 artists nominated for the Beck's Futures arts prize, Bedwyr Williams creates performances described as "virtually indistinguishable from stand-up routines".

Olivia Plender's The Masterpiece - Issue 3, Evil Genius (2004)

Olivia Plender is on the shortlist for the �20,000 prize for her adult-oriented comic books.

Jamie Shovlin's Tote wie Neptun by Christian Emmerich from Lustfaust: A Folk Anthology curated by Jamie Shovlin

The artists' work, including Jamie Shovlin's examinations of the way humans map and classify the world, will be shown at three UK galleries.

Jo Robertson's Bordering between... (Nov 2005)

Jo Robertson investigates "rock 'n' roll mythology" with drawing, painting and performance. Judges said the shortlist represented the "energy and range" of contemporary art.

Lucy Stein's Rescue Remedy (2005)

The nominees are all under 35, including 26-year-old Lucy Stein. The public will be able to take part in the vote to choose the winner, who will be announced on 2 May.
