They're off - the scene on Tenby's North Beach as the 35th Boxing Day Swim splashed into action. Swimming out to Tenby's lifeboat, the Sir Galahad, was one of the challenges of the bravest bathers Is that Elvis I see? Tenby's mayor and deputy, Tish Rossiter and Sue Lane, join the festive plunge. Four Knights and a Round Table were amongst the swim's 'Legends' characters. Tenby's Boxing Day stampede, as nearly 600 swimmers sprint for the sea. Members of the Hynes School of Irish Dancing, Saundersfoot also stepped out Brave bathers dressed as Welsh rugby legends warm up for their dip. With a combined age of over 200, this quartet of ladies from Tenby Tangent were The Supremes. These 'Pink Ladies' were swimming in aid of a local primary school.
